It is Important Part of the Calibration of Instrument of Standard Measurable Instrument.
How to Find out Span Error of Instrument
Formula :-
Example :- 1
Calculate the percent of span error for Ph analyzer as per the below details.
LRV = 4 pH
URV = 10 pH
Test buffer solution = 7.04 pH
Instrument indication = 7.13 pH
URV = 10 pH
Test buffer solution = 7.04 pH
Instrument indication = 7.13 pH
Solution :-
(Actual Instrument Reading – Standard Equipment Reading)
= ______________________________________________________
(Upper Range Value – Lower Range Value)
Put the Value in this Formula And Given the Answer
Answer = +1.5% of Span
